My name is Julie Gates, I am 55 and I am the author of Storms and Shadows and Call of the Raven, both of which can be found collectively under the heading of The de Braose Legacy.  I have a keen intrest in history and live near Bramber Castle, the one time seat of the de Braose family who are the subject of Storms and Shadows.  I have two children, Natalie and Matthew, both grown now and two cats Jess and Jazz.
